Men's Meet
The NYU men's team is the favorite, projected to score 417 points, led by sophomore Teddy McQuaid and fifth-year Teddy Cross. Denison, the defending champions, is close behind with 329 points, but faces competition from divers who could impact their score.
The University of Chicago, currently ranked third, has Cooper Costello, who is the only man seeded first in three individual events. Bates, seeded fifth with 233.5 points, features Max Cory, the fastest 100 freestyler in Division III history. The Bobcats, despite not being a traditional powerhouse, have the potential to make an impact with their eight swimmers.
Women's Meet
The Emory women are the top-ranked team, projected to score 412 points. They have depth, with a maximum roster size of 20 athletes, including 17 swimmers and three divers. Kenyon and NYU are closely behind, with only two points separating them. NYU has two CSCAA Swimmer of the Year, Kaley McIntyre, who is a strong contender for multiple titles.
Kenyon, third last year, is projected to score 366 points, led by senior Molly Haag. MIT, the defending champions, is in seventh place with 202.5 points, and Denison rounds out the top four.
The women's meet promises intense competition, with several teams vying for top positions. The championship will showcase the talent and determination of these swimmers as they battle for national glory.
